Website Privacy Policy
This policy covers militarygpskit.com — this website and nothing else. It explains what is collected when you browse these pages, who processes it, and how to stop it.
Looking for the app privacy policy? Each mobile edition has its own notice: iOS app privacy policy and Android app privacy policy. Installing or using the app is governed by the document for your platform, not by this one.
01
Who we are
This website is published by Alfarays, maker of Military GPS Survival Kit, operating from Armenia. The same publisher lists the app under a different brand on each store — Alfarays on the Apple App Store and MI Division on Google Play. For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation, Alfarays is the data controller for personal data processed through this site, and can be reached through our contact page.
02
What this site does not do
The site is a set of static pages. It has no accounts and no back end that stores anything about you. Specifically:
- There is no sign-up, log-in, account or profile.
- There are no contact forms, comment fields, newsletter fields or file uploads — nothing on the site asks you to type personal information.
- No payments are taken here. The app is free and is downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
- The coordinate converter runs entirely in your browser. Coordinates you type are never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and they are not saved anywhere after you close the page.
- The site does not ask for, receive or store your device location.
- We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- Web fonts are served from this site's own domain, not from Google Fonts, so loading a page makes no request to a font server.
03
What is collected
Two things process data when you visit, both of them for audience measurement, security and delivering the pages:
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. It sets cookies and collects: pages viewed and time on them, the referring site or search engine, approximate location (country/region, derived from an IP address that Google truncates before storage), device type, browser, operating system and screen size. Google states that it truncates IP addresses before storage; we never see a full IP address in the Analytics interface. Google acts as our processor, and its handling of this data is governed by its own terms rather than by us — see the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services. Our property is configured to retain this data for 14 months. We describe Google's processing here in good faith based on its published documentation, but we do not control it and cannot warrant it.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web server, its infrastructure processes your IP address, request time, requested URL and browser user-agent in order to deliver the page and to protect the service against abuse and denial-of-service attacks. These operational logs are short-lived and are not used to build a profile of you.
05
Legal basis (EU/UK visitors)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in understanding audience size and keeping the site secure and available. The processing is limited to aggregate measurement; we do not profile individuals, make automated decisions about them, or combine this data with anything else.
You have an unconditional right to object to analytics processing. Blocking cookies, using the Google opt-out add-on, or browsing with a tracker-blocking extension all give immediate effect to that objection, and we treat them as a valid opt-out.
06
International transfers
Google and Vercel are United States companies and may process the above data outside your country, including in the US. Each publishes its own transfer safeguards — at the effective date above, both list certification under the EU-U.S., UK and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework together with Standard Contractual Clauses, and those are the safeguards relied on here. Certification status is maintained by those companies, not by us; check their current listings if this matters to you.
07
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and holds no accounts, passwords or payment details, so there is no store of personal data here to breach. That said, no method of transmitting or storing data over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or from this site. Any transmission is at your own risk.
Where processing happens on infrastructure operated by Google or Vercel, their security measures apply and we rely on their published commitments.
08
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal data about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. Because this site holds no accounts and no records that identify you by name, we usually cannot link any of the data described above to a specific person — which also means a request may not be answerable without further information that would itself be more intrusive to collect.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not offer financial incentives for personal information.
To exercise a right, contact us through our contact page. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy at any time to reflect changes in the tools or services described above, or in applicable law. When we do, this page and the effective date at the top change with it; we do not notify visitors individually, so please check back if this matters to you. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy. This policy was last updated on .
